I intended to make a one-minute video. That's why I recorded just a few scenes.
At the end, I changed my mind. I wish I would have made a longer video.

This is the video me and Jr. managed to record in 2 days of heavy practice and thinking. I am very happy that I had the opportunity to make a video with him because he is one of my biggest inspirations since I started juggling, and performing these tricks was easy due to our similar style of juggling. It was extremely fun to hang out with jugglers from Osaka and this was a great end for my student exchange program in Japan.

The half shower is a variation on the cascade (the basic juggling pattern). In the half shower one hand does over the top throws while the other hand throws normally. It is a beginners tricks and a fun one to learn.

The feeder is A and the feedees are B (on A's left) and C. The feeder counts 1 2 3. On 1 and 3, A and B exchange a pass. On 2, A and C exchange a pass. On 3, B catches the pass and walks over by A, rotating the positions.
1. "iA": The manipulator M intercepts a pass from B to A. The juggler who was A becomes the manipulator, and reads from the manipulator line. The old manipulator reads A's line.
2. "cC": The manipulator carries a club to C.
3. "sB": The manipulator substitutes a pass from A to B (catches the pass and hands in a different club). Then all the jugglers are re-labeled (but not the manipulator) and the new feeder starts counting the 3 passes.
Here, Rhonda starts manipulating at beat 3 above.

Mystery Wrist Mount Trick - N12 MagicYoYo Shark Tutorial. About the trick... It came out in the late 90's early 2000. Alex Berenguel may be the creator of the trick. This trick has been a difficult one to have a 100% identification on the name. The hatstand made its debut at chocfest 7, where I was compering. After a period of prototyping and refining, I built the version that worked. I demoed this a couple of times then it broke. I replaced the elastic and set it up for the big day, used it on stage and it worked, then broke next time I used it.
Be prepared to spend significant tinkering time in between uses, and for frequent breakdowns. That said, it's never let me down when I've needed it.
All in all I've found it a great way to get chicks[1], if you don't count the long evenings spent honing the design and strewing the house with geeky construction equipment, and the fact you'll be laughed out of most nightclubs if you go in wearing a topper. But on stage it works, and it has drawn admiring glances from fellow jugglers and even won us a bag full of croissants on one occasion.
